Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq met with former Ameerr of Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Kashmir Abdul Rashid Turabi along with a delegation. During the meeting, they discussed the current situation of Kashmir, development in Azad Kashmir, and other matters. Also present were Syed Nasir Hussain Hamdani, Chairman Shah Hamdani International Trust, Syed Sikander Abbasi, Former Chairman Shah Hamdani, Syed Noor Muhammad Hamdani, Vice President Shah Hamdani Trust, Syed Atif Hussain Hamdani, Syed Hasan Ali Hamdani, and Shujaat Hussain Advocate. The delegation also extended an invitation to the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir to attend the International Shah Hamdani Conference. Abdul Rashid Turabi highlighted the objectives of the International Shah Hamdani Conference, emphasizing its role in promoting Shah Hamdani’s teachings worldwide. He stated that scholars from around the world would participate in this conference. It was reiterated in the meeting that joint efforts would be made to highlight the Kashmir issue as it has entered a crucial phase. The Prime Minister stated that we must play our role effectively from the freedom camps and that all parties must adopt a consensus stance on the Kashmir issue. He assured that they would also assure the people of occupied Kashmir that their voices would be heard globally. The priority of the state’s people is to provide employment opportunities, develop the region, and improve the standard of living. The Prime Minister said that serving the people of the state and providing basic amenities are our top priorities. Abdul Rashid Turabi appreciated the steps taken by the government regarding good governance and the freedom movement and expressed confidence in full cooperation with the government.
