Under the leadership of Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, the Board Members of Azad Kashmir Small Industries Corporation approved a budget of PKR 456.5 million in a meeting. The session was attended by Principal Secretary Zafer Mahmood Khan, Secretary of Industry, Secretary of Planning and Development, Special Secretary of Finance, along with the Presidents of Chambers of Commerce in Mirpur, Muzaffarabad, and the President of the Bank of AJK.

The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir has directed the formation of a committee comprising secretaries and special secretaries of relevant departments, under the leadership of the Secretary of Industries, to bring reforms in Toyota, Small Industries, Social Welfare, and Women Development. The committee will propose reforms while presenting its recommendations to the government. The Prime Minister instructed that a list of artisans be provided throughout Azad Kashmir so that, after boosting their morale, the registration process for them can be completed.
