Prime Minister of the Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, met with Chairman of the Higher Education Commission, Professor Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, at Jammu and Kashmir House in Islamabad. During the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on the financial and administrative matters of the universities in Azad Kashmir. Minister for Local Government, Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, was also present on the occasion.
The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said that the Chairman of the Higher Education Commission is playing an important role in resolving the financial and other issues of the universities in Azad Kashmir. He added that the Higher Education Commission has had a significant role in making the universities of Azad Kashmir functional. The Prime Minister emphasized that education is a key focus, and the government is paying special attention to providing quality education so that students graduating from universities can not only support themselves and their families but also contribute to the development of the country.
Chairman of the Higher Education Commission, Professor Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, assured the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir that all possible steps will be taken to resolve the financial and other matters of the universities.
