The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, stated that he began the public outreach campaign from Haveli, extending from Taobat to Bhimber, and that this initiative continues. He expressed his desire to personally assess the underdeveloped areas, adding that people are tired of formalities and ceremonial addresses, which weakens the relationship between the public and the state. He expressed these views while addressing a reception in Hattian Bala Bazaar. Present at the occasion were government ministers, including Colonel (Retd) Waqar Ahmed Noor, Diwan Ali Khan Chughtai, Abdul Majid Khan, Azhar Sadiq, Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, Mian Abdul Waheed, District Council Chairman Tayyab Kayani, and others.
Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and extended his thanks to Ashfaq Zafar, noting that he would also visit Zafar’s constituency. He has instructed the separation of university and college campuses. The Prime Minister also announced that the development budget would include the Ali Khan Chughtai Cricket Ground and a 4-kilometer road as part of the development program.
Earlier, while addressing a reception in Sain Bagh, the Prime Minister stated that the journey of public service continues, and that the people’s representative is capable and fully representing them. He assured that the government has a clean record, adding that if anyone can prove even a single instance of corruption against any member of the cabinet, he would resign.
