Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq, visited the Baloch Freedom Memorial of Kashmir. He offered Fateha at the shrine of Colonel Hidayat Khan, a hero of the Kashmir freedom movement, and made a special prayer for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks. It was at this same site in 1947 that, under the leadership of Colonel Hidayat Khan and Colonel Muhammad Hussain, people vowed to sacrifice their lives for the Kashmir freedom movement. At this memorial, the people declared Jihad against the Hindu Dogra regime. On this occasion, former Chairman of Town Baloch, Muhammad Abdullah Khan, briefed the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir about the Kashmir Freedom Memorial. Accompanying the Prime Minister were Azad Kashmir’s Minister of Information, Pir Mazhar Saeed Shah, Nisar Ansar Abadali, Muhammad Akmal Sargala, Zafar Iqbal Malik, Chaudhry Ikhlaq, Sardar Faheem Akhtar Rabbani, and Advisor Sardar Ahmed Sagheer.
