PM AJ&K Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq adresses on the AJK assembly floor to the session held on Kashmir Solidarity Day observed on Feb5,2024

Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, has stated that the Kashmir Solidarity Day reflects the deep emotional connection between Pakistan and the people of Kashmir. On this day, he expressed gratitude to the vigilant Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar, and Army Chief General Asim Munir, for addressing the issues of the people of Azad Kashmir and unveiling human rights violations by India.

He emphasized that Pakistan is the destination for the people of Kashmir, and he acknowledged the sacrifices of the Pakistani forces in defending and ensuring the safety of Azad Kashmir. Addressing the Indian Prime Minister Modi, he warned that any aggression or desire at any level will be met with a strong response.

Speaking at a special session of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Assembly on Kashmir Solidarity Day, Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar conveyed his appreciation. He declared that on this day, the people of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, and Kashmiris worldwide stand united. He highlighted the establishment of the Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Council in collaboration with freedom fighters as a practical step.

He assured that resources would only be spent on the freedom movement and the rights of the people. The Prime Minister asserted that the preservation of the rights of the freedom movement and the region’s people is the top priority, emphasizing that power is not the ultimate goal.

Acknowledging the global Kashmiri diaspora, he expressed gratitude for raising the Kashmir issue internationally. He stressed the importance of global attention to the Kashmir issue based on social awareness. The Prime Minister expressed hope that the elected government, after February 8, would vigorously address the Kashmir issue.

He concluded by affirming that Kashmir is an integral part of Pakistan, and the day is not far when occupied Kashmir will be free and integrated with Pakistan. He emphasized passing on the ideological connection with Pakistan to future generations, redirecting the means of Azad Kashmir towards the freedom movement for the liberation of occupied Kashmir from Indian control.
