Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, has stated that subsidies on affordable flour and electricity tariffs will continue, urging the public not to pay heed to rumors about their discontinuation. He affirmed that the government is always ready for dialogue and is taking steps to address the issues faced by Muzaffarabad city. Efforts are also underway to form a long-term committee regarding the Peaceful Assembly and Public Order Ordinance.

The historic health package, he noted, will resolve health-related challenges. Measures are being taken to overcome the issues hindering cleanliness in the capital city. The government’s reconciliation committee remains in constant contact with the Public Action Committee. While differences are a hallmark of democracy, the government is fully prepared to listen to the perspectives of protesters.

The Prime Minister assured traders in Plate that their issues are legitimate and invited them to meet in delegations to discuss and resolve their problems promptly. He emphasized that dialogue will certainly take place, and all concerns will be heard and addressed.

He made these remarks during a conversation with traders in Plate. On this occasion, government ministers Abdul Majid Khan, Sardar Javed Ayub, Dewan Ali Khan Chughtai, Advisor to the Department of Services and General Administration Nisara Abbasi, along with administrative and municipal officers, political workers, and a large number of traders, were also present.
