Under the presidency of Prime Minister Azad Government of Jammu and Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, a review session was held regarding development. In the session, a review of progress was taken on various sectors. Additional Chief Secretary Development, Madhat Shahzad, briefed the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir on progress in sectors including roads, health, education, electricity, tourism, and others. Chief Secretary of Azad Kashmir, Dawood Muhammad Bareech, participated in the meeting via video link, while Additional Chief Secretary Development, Madhat Shahzad, Principal Secretary Zafar Mahmood Khan, Secretary Finance Lieutenant (R) Islam Zaib, Accountant General Azad Kashmir Tafakur Ali Asdi, Secretary Electricity Arshad Qureshi, and other relevant officials were also present.
Addressing the session, Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq said that the government will provide ample funds for timely completion of development projects so that the public can benefit from their completion. He emphasized special attention to all sectors including tourism, roads, local government, electricity, and education in Azad Kashmir. The Prime Minister said that all possible measures are being taken to improve road infrastructure to promote tourism in Azad Kashmir. He said that tourism industry has gained importance worldwide, and Azad Kashmir is a beautiful region, so ample measures will be taken to promote tourism. The Prime Minister directed the relevant authorities to expedite work on road projects, especially in Neelum Valley, during this work season.
The Prime Minister stated that there is no shortage of funds for development projects. All ongoing projects will be completed soon. The Prime Minister instructed to provide a progress report regarding releases and expenditures. He said that funds will not be lacking for developmental projects.
