Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, has said that the government of the state is taking all possible measures to alleviate the sense of deprivation among the people. Welfare of the impoverished classes and eradication of poverty from the state are among the top priorities. From Neelum to Chamb, there will be governance under one law. Under the Endowment Fund, financial assistance will be provided to widows, orphans, divorced women, the elderly, and disabled individuals at their doorsteps to eliminate poverty from Azad Kashmir. Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq expressed these views while addressing the Iftar dinner hosted by Wazir-e-Azad Life Fisheries and Development Authority during his visit to Kotli yesterday. On this occasion, government ministers Sardar Javaid Ayub, Mian Abdul Wahid, and Javaid Iqbal Baddhanvi also addressed, while Ministers of Government Chaudhry Azhar Siddique, Sardar Mir Akbar Khan, Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, Nasir Ansar Abdali, women, People’s Party workers, and a large number of people from Kotli constituency were also present. Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, said that any society cannot function properly if there is injustice in it. He said that he has come with the determination to spend the money of the people’s taxes on their welfare and prosperity and will use all means to complete this mission. The Prime Minister said that corruption and maladministration must be eradicated from the root so that the rule of law and merit is established in the state. He said that serving the poor people of the state, their welfare and prosperity, and the eradication of poverty from the region are among the government’s top priorities.
