Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, paid a surprise visit to the Secretariat at 8:30 AM this morning, Tuesday. He checked the biometric attendance of all secretaries and secretariat staff. Ninety percent of the secretaries were found present in their offices on this occasion. Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq expressed satisfaction with the attendance and active biometric system of the government secretaries and secretariat staff. While conversing with the secretaries, the Prime Minister said that ensuring good governance of the incumbent coalition government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir is a top priority so that available resources can be effectively utilized to provide facilities to the public and improve their welfare. Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, during his sudden visit to the Secretariat, expressed dissatisfaction when some senior secretaries of the government arrived at the office 30 to 40 minutes late. He directed them to strictly adhere to office hours.
