The Prime Minister of Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar Haq, stated that by promoting tourism in Poonch, the region’s destiny will be transformed. Through the tourism festival, the world will be able to witness the beauty of this region. As the standard of living improves, the deprivation faced by the people can be alleviated. He also highlighted the plight in Indian-occupied Kashmir, where atrocities like rape are rampant, and people’s dignity is being trampled. The system our forefathers established, which allows full governance over a small region, aims for the freedom of Indian-occupied Kashmir. The people here enjoy better facilities than those in Pakistan’s provinces. Hindering tourism in the name of rights would create difficulties for future generations, which is not fair at all. A large project is being launched to make the area a tourism corridor, which will change the fate of the region.

In the coming days, a lawyers’ convention will be held in Rawalakot, and any positive suggestions that arise will be implemented.
